Oklahoma Almost Homicide Bomber

Remember this story? It just happened last Saturday. If you haven't heard about it then you either don't listen to talk radio or you didn't watch the news Monday morning at 4:00 AM.

Since the majority of America doesn't even know about this story because the media wants to cover it up, I'll touch up on the subject, but I must warn you it won't be long because I can't find one single story on the internet on this. Everything I'm about to say I remembered from a few days ago on the radio.

There is a college kid who attempted to bomb a crowded football stadium. The kid had his ticket but he couldn't get in because he noticed that people were checking bags, and his bag had a nice big bomb in it. So instead of trying to get in he just blows himself up, only he died.

So lets back up and go over some things that happened before that. This kid had three room mates who just so happened to be Arabs. According to the FBI there was Jihad information on his laptop computer and the kid went to a gardening shop for a liquid with an ingredient called ammonium-nitrate in it that could be used for his bomb. He said he was using it for plants, but there are no plants in, on, or near his dorm room. These are all convincing facts that it wasn't an accident, and it had something to do with Jihad.

If this attack, god forbid went as planned, there would be many bloody deaths at the sold out football game. There was a tree a good few yards away from where he blew himself up. There are holes in the tree. A fragmentation bomb. This kid really wanted to murder hundreds, possibly thousands of people.

But this attempt in attack isn't what is bugging me so much as the fact that no one is covering this. I've seen it once on the television early in the morning, and twice on the radio late at night, other than that there is no coverage and 90% of America doesn't even know about this. Why does the media push this story aside? America wants to know when she gets an attempt in terrorism. If only people would cover this maybe, just maybe everyone would finally understand what the enemy is. People have forgotten 9/11, and this story should be a reminder that America isn't yet safe from terrorism. This is a big story, and I want some coverage!

The gardining stuff was a common bomb making material called ammonium-nitrate. Yeah its shocking how the media covers this kind of stuff up. What scares me is the small holes they found in the trees. It was basically a fragmantation bomb. That coud've been pretty deadly in a crowd.

I heard something on this, but I can assure you it wasn't at 4:00am in the morning. Can't remember where I heard it though. Also, there wasn't very much detail. It seems to me that liberal newsmedia stations making a big deal out of this might be against their agenda. They might not want the general public saying "Oh, this is horrible. Bush was right, we have to fight these people with everything we've got!" Ya think?!

I would join you on this project and I think it's a great idea, however I barely have enough time to keep up my own blogs. Good luck with this. Now you have two blogs (like I do) and it's going to take up quite a bit of your time.

BC08, I sent you "the e-mail" under the assumption that your address is BushCheney08@yahoo.com

Gayle, I'd love to have you join if you can find the time, I'm not asking that anyone posts much. If you decide that you want to join, then tell me your e-mail address and I'll send you "the e-mail".

Thanks for all the quick joiners! But don't feel I don't want anymore, because the bigger the team the better the blog. As long as you're not an angry extremist (on either side) you are welcome to join.

I just noticed my blog name is very similar to a (Liberal) radio station called Air America. But this blog will NOT be Liberal, ever. Anyways, I'm sure I'll make this a running joke as time goes by.

It says right in the FOX News article that Gayle linked to that there is no indication that this act had anything to do with terrorism. It also says that what he atteptempted to buy was the same thing used to make the bombs used in the Oklahoma City bombing, which has nothing AT ALL to do with Arabs. Also, the article also states that he never attpemted to enter the stadium. Interesting, Cody. Not everything objectable in the U.S. is terrorism.

"It was not clear what Boren was referring to, but the statement went on to note that some people incorrectly concluded early on that the Oklahoma City bombing (search) was the work of a Middle Eastern terrorist.

"As we all now know, the person responsible was not someone from the Middle East but was Timothy McVeigh and at least one other American who assisted him," the statement read."

Don't ignore your beloved FOX News, dark. If you think that the site you just linked to is credible...have you looked at all into the 9/11 Conspiracy theories? Much of the same thing.

Im just giving you a site for Cody's opinion showing that he didnt just make this up. I happen to believe this site. The author was on severals shows and sounded very sane and believable. Logical too.

It's a theory that has been researched only because heaven forbid an American would be a terrorist.

Everything I wrote is a proven FACT. He had arab roommates. Information about Jihad on his computer, and he actually DID try to get in but he couldn't when he was supposed to have a bag check and he refused. It's all PROVEN.

And I know he's not an Arab, but he is an aspiring Muslum extremist. His roommates probably pressured him into it and he started to listen to them, A little too much, so he decided he wanted to kill people.

Your right, Cody and Darksaturos, But you will never be able to get through to some people; facts are simply ignored. They believe what they want to believe. Problem is, they think the same way about us. I attempt very hard to understand the mindset, but sometimes I feel I might as well be visiting another planet. Even though there are some liberals who I have been able to communicate with on an intelligent basis, Samurai Sam and Dadobot, for example, it still becomes very discouraging. We have to keep trying!

One more thing I simply must say here: I love these kids (sorry Cody, but you are young) who take their time to invest in this country! My kids, as much as I love them, couldn't have cared less at that age. They were simply interested in being kids and doing "kid" things. You don't know how much I admire you, and all the other young people who are politically motivated. Even I wasn't politically motivated at your age. I am in awe of you youngsters, and thankful for you more than you know. I just wanted you to know that! May God forever bless you and keep you, and His angels watch over you for the remainer of your lives.

Yes, terrorists are a threat. Not only here, but all around the world. But Americans become hated when they makes assumptions like THAT. In saying that you are assuming that because these three people were Muslim, they were terrorists and wanted to kill everyone. It makes me sick that you automatically assume that. Safety is important, but let's also consider the fact that no matter what race or creed, all people have feelings and all people have rights. The generalization that you just made is creating hate, and hate creates terrorists. Thanks, I'm sure they needed your help.

Jihad is a Muslim thing, he had Jihad stuff, check the link I gave a few comments back.

At 9:54 AM, Blogger Gayle said...

I know, Cody. I don't hate Muslims either. Just as I want our borders protected, but that doesn't mean I hate Mexicans as I have been accused of by some. I hate the fact we are so lax regarding our borders and anyone, including terrorists can get across. But some people read what they want to read into what we write, and put their own spin on it.

At 10:02 AM, Blogger Gayle said...

Okay, I checked the link: The headline itself reads:
"OKLAHOMA BOBMER HAD JEHAD MATERIAL
documents found in apartment of student who blew himself up"

The article goes on to referrence a "significant amount of "jihad" materials, and that "officials carted away a huge cache of explosives from Hinrichs' apartment."

Case closed.

At 1:06 PM, Blogger Allisoni Balloni said...

I have read the entire article, and still find nothing at all about his roomates pursuading him to blow himself up. It is a speculation of things that might occur in the future, but even within the article it denies that anyone else that was possibly involved poses any threat. Please don't accuse me of putting my "own spin" on things I read until you completely understand it yourself.

Gayle said: these kids

no offense taken here. I AM a kid. I am smart enough to know that. Its not about age, its about ethics.

Okay, so maybe they didn't, but he still owned lots of stuff on Jihad. So he was either persued (which is very likely) or he decided to do it himself. Either way he did it for the Muslims even if he wasn't one. Again, the Jihad material, there is no other group of people that use Jihad.

I've updated my photo today. My last tux picture was taken two years ago.

Fun is good.

I'll probably be broadening what can be written about here, because "I love America" posts are great, but redundent.

Anything American, even if it's not political. You know like a movie, or something funny, I don't know. Something more fun hopefully. Or I could go the other way and broaden it by accepting things other than just solely American politics. But I'll leave this up to what everyone else wants. I'm open to suggestions.
