Voting time

It's now time to start voting for the blogger of the month, this is how it works.

Just leave a comment with the name of the blogger you think has done the best on Blog America this month. Both members and non-members can vote, but members cannot vote for themselves.

The winner will receive admin powers for a month.

You will be granted:

Full comment section moderation power

Power to add new members

Power to change settings (with my consent first)

Power to edit template (with my consent first)

Power to advertise Blog America in any way you please

With these abilities you must use them to better this blog. You should try your hardest to improve the blog to the best of your ability and if you in any way make the blog worse you will lose both admin abilities and possibly membership depending on what you did.

Voting time will go from today; 10/28/05 to 10/30/05.

Good luck!

Oh yeah, there's no point voting for me, I've got admin powers anyways.

Make sure you skim through some of the most notable articles before you vote!

If the winner knows anything about programming and HTML, I would like to get a nice picture in the top right part of the blog. I'll be more specific about what and where when we have our winner.

My vote goes to Nightcrawler for "America the Beautiful." I especially enjoyed the first paragraph. That's the way to honor and appreciate America. Good going, Nightcrawler!

I don't see why you shouldn't be included, Cody. That would only mean you would get to be administrator again. After all, you have posted here quite a bit and I don't think it's right that you should be left out!

Also, maybe you need to let regular readers know about this. There's only five days to get the votes in.

Thank you for the vote, Gayle.

Cody, I could try it. I have no idea exactly how successful I'd be but I'm always willing to experiment.

Oh I see what you're saying. If I lose I lose my admin powers and it goes to the next person. Makes sense. Alright, cancel that last comment, you can vote for me.

BTW, if we don't get too many votes by tommorow afternoon I will probably extend voting time.

Also, you can vote for a blogger based on a few things.

Articles.

Comments.

Personality. (kind/nice probably)

HTML skill.

Or just whoever you think could do a good job as an admin.

Or whatever else, just vote on your favorite person.

I'll vote for Gayle. She seems to be a kind person, active commentator, good articles, and the such. You've got my vote Gayle!

Oh great, Mr. Chimp has come to this blog too!

Take a hike, we don't have room for idiots like you.

For those of you who think I'm being mean, make sure you read the comments he made on the better wing.

Anyways, you need to either continue to insult me to keep me entertained, or move out of the way and let the smart people do what they're good at.

It's obvious J&M is only going around trying to promote his deep and meaningless site. I check it out. It's the sorriest site I've ever seen. A bunch of pictures denegrating our President and no thought at all except to slander. He needs to make efforts to promote it poor slob. No one is interested.

And thanks for the vote, Cody. It's appreciated. I still think Nightcrawler deserves it though. So far, anyway.

I vote for Brian. He's new & young, but his little "post of awsomeness" seems to have pushed the hottest button (wow! 64 comments so far--that's gotta count for something). Besides, I've seen his "Bloghogger" site & he seems to know a thing or three about HTML & other programming stuff.

Okay, we've got one 4 votes for 4 different people. I guess we need to leave this open for another day.

Thanks gameguy, it looks like I've got power for another month.
